Firepit lights

I decided to get 6 wine 1/2 barrels and put posts in them for lights. We built and drilled brackets around the posts and filled with river rocks for weight

As you can see in the picture below, we found the center and marked where the post would lie and pre-drilled 2 holes there

Next, we placed the post and drilled the screws in and stood it up to add the supports

We did this for 6 posts. The video below is after we had done the first 2. We were calling it a night and wanted to hang some lights for fun

Here are the lights with the addition I ran an extension cord along the fence and drilled holes into the barrels so they wouldn’t hold water. I love it. I just have the river rock in there right now I never added mud or plants. I may consider doing in summer
